Castaways is located at the entrance of the popular and lively St Lawrence Gap on the South coast

of Barbados. February 2018 will mark 2 years of operation for Castaways and we are proud that we have won many fans locally as well as visitors from around the world because of the location, food, drinks along with friendly & professional service. We work very hard to ensure standards are kept at the highest level for a great customer experience and we always look forward to welcoming back past guests as well as introducing new customers to Castaways. The restaurant overlooks the picturesque St. Lawrence Bay; the only bay between Bridgetown and Oistins on the south coast of the island. This treats all guests to spectacular panoramic ocean views of the Lagoon. We purchase only the freshest local produce possible and practice a farm-to-table concept, supporting local farmers and businesses. Head Chef Nick King’s long-lasting reputation, culinary skills and commitment are displayed in the unique dishes he creates for our diners. Backed by a devoted crew of knowledgeable Sous Chefs and kitchen staff, the entire team is dedicated to ensuring utmost care and attention is given to every plate leaving the kitchen. The floor and bar staff preserve the excellent standards of the kitchen and pride themselves in exceptional customer service; keen to welcome guests and are always at hand to help and give local advice about the island.

 St Lawrence Bay is located at the east end of Worthing beach (Sandy Beach to the locals) on the south coast of Barbados. The reef on the outskirts of the bay creates a safe and calm swimming spot, enjoyed regularly by locals, travellers, fishermen, sea turtles, stingrays & fish. During low tide, the sea level reaches just about knee high, making it possible to wander and explore the bay all the way to the reef in warm, relaxing crystal clear water. From the family of sting rays playing by the water’s edge or the chilled and curious seaturtles bobbing up and down in the bay to the incredible acrobatic antics of the Bay's birds of prey, the Frigate, or the numerous ghost crabs running around the beach a few feet away, St Lawrence Bay is truly a stage for wildlife entertainment for our diners. Casual atmosphere, fresh food, crafted cocktails, acoustically pleasing music and friendly service awaits you.
